Event & Venue Coordinator
About Studio 301:
We are a multi-use event venue that hosts weddings, celebrations, corporate events, fashion shows, photoshoots, and more. We pride ourselves on exceptional service, smooth operations, and memorable client experiences. We are looking for a full-time Event & Venue Coordinator to support our team and help deliver seamless events from start to finish.
Position Summary:
The Event & Venue Coordinator is the primary point of contact for incoming clients and plays a hands-on role in preparing and executing events. This role includes touring prospective clients through the venue, managing inquiries, assisting with event setup and teardown, and supporting bar and service operations during events. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Experience & Sales Support
Conduct venue tours, answer client questions, and provide an excellent first impression
Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Assist with booking details and client coordination as needed
Event Preparation & Execution
Create floor plans and layouts for events
Set up and tear down tables, chairs, décor, and event equipment
Stock the bar and act as a server or bartender during events (training/certifications can be provided)
Support event operations during weddings, parties, and corporate functions
Venue Care & Operations
Tidy and reset the venue after events, including stacking chairs, removing tables, and light cleaning
Clean and polish glassware and maintain bar supplies
Help ensure the venue is guest-ready at all times
Schedule & Availability
Full-time: Variable Hours as required
Weekends: Required as needed (typically 3 weekends per month depending on event schedule)
Flexibility for occasional evenings when events run later
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable with hands-on work (lifting, moving equipment, cleaning)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Bartending/serving experience is an asset, but not required (we can train)
